EncoderPOS started from a specific observation: most retail businesses run a till, a spreadsheet and a separate ledger, and none of the three agree. The product treats the counter, the warehouse and the owner's Monday report as one system.
Sales, purchases, returns and transfers all write to a single inventory ledger. The same documents post into a real chart of accounts. Every branch has its own stock, pricing and staff permissions while rolling up into consolidated reporting. And billing continues during an outage, because the businesses running it cannot stop selling when the internet stops working.
