Healthcare

Healthcare software with records, roles and audit trails taken seriously

Clinic management, queues, patient records and pharmacy inventory with batch and expiry control.

Problem

Walk-in queues managed on paper, dispensing that cannot see batch or expiry, and no record of who viewed or changed what.

Software

A clinic system with live queues, attributable visit records, role-scoped access, and pharmacy stock bound to batch and expiry.

Result

Faster patient flow, expired stock blocked before dispensing, and an access history that can be produced on request.

Healthcare software carries two obligations most business systems do not: the record has to be accurate about a person, and access to it has to be provable. That changes the design from the first table — clinically relevant writes are attributable, timestamped and non-destructive, and roles are enforced at the data layer rather than by hiding buttons.

Our work concentrates on the operational layer: appointments and live queues, patient and visit records, prescriptions, billing, and pharmacy inventory where batch numbers and expiry dates are not optional metadata. EncoderPOS already runs in pharmacies for exactly that discipline.

We are explicit about scope. We build clinic, pharmacy and diagnostic operations software; we do not claim regulatory certifications we do not hold, and we say so during discovery rather than after a contract.

What breaks in healthcare

  • Expiry that must never be sold

Pharmacy stock is batch-bound. A system tracking quantity but not batch and expiry will eventually dispense something it should have blocked.

  • Access that has to be provable

Who read or changed a record, and when, is part of the record. Retrofitting audit trails after launch is far more expensive than designing them in.

  • Queues, not calendars

Walk-in-heavy clinics do not run on fixed appointment slots. The system has to model a live queue with priorities and no-shows.

  • Billing split across payers

Cash, panel and insurance-backed visits need different documents from the same encounter without duplicating the clinical record.

FAQ

Healthcare — questions

Do you hold healthcare compliance certifications?

We do not advertise certifications we do not hold. We build to the access-control, audit and retention requirements your regulator or policy specifies, agreed in writing during discovery.

Can a pharmacy use EncoderPOS as it is?

Yes — pharmacies are among the industries it is configured for, including batch, expiry and supplier handling. Clinic-side workflows are built as custom software alongside it.
